11 August 1963: Postcard to Mr & Mrs G. E. Philpott, 3 King’s Drive, Bishopston, Bristol 7: ‘10.8.62 [sic] Thanks for card recieved this morning Am very sorry Dad is not well, get well soon. Hope Mum’s arm soon feels a bit better, and she musent try to do to much. This is a picture of the new Lifeboat Station – went to see it last Thursday – if weather fine will see it launched on a practice on Monday. Mr Staniforth told me to tell you I will be coming home looking realy healthy. We had such a lovely hot day yesterday sunbathing at Kynance all day & caught more sun. Went for swim before dinner & a few hours later. It was lovel once one had got in. Have just writen one card to all 97[?] biro blotted – lukily not much Sent with lots and lots of love to you both & Ant. Chris xxxxxx. P.S.
