April 1925: Brinksway School: Our Workers’ Social, given to all those who helped in any way to make the production of Red Riding Hood so successful, was held on Thursday, Feb. 26, and a splendid social it was. The teachers spared no expense in giving the workers a good night: splendid refreshments were provided, and after everyone had had their fill there was still some left. The programme was in the hands of the young people, and the following contributed items:- Miss Alice Barton, Miss Irene Harrington, Miss Vera Lomax and Miss Elsie Price.
