June 1928: ‘Half-Yearly Missionary Box Opening. This will take place on Monday, June 11th, in the Parochial Hall, at 7-30 p.m. The speaker will be the Rev. J. C. Kemm, Vicar of Ormesby. All box-holders and all who are interested in the work of the Church Overseas are invited. Light refreshments will be provided.’
