Matlock, Ashover, Bonsall and Darley were all separate ancient ecclesiastical parishes: but Tansley was in Crich, Dethick, Lea & Holloway in Ashover, Cromford in Wirksworth, Matlock Bath in Matlock, and Wensley & Snitterton in Darley.
