Entered the manor of Maydford which Leticia Newsam widow has demised to the said Thomas Truste for a term not yet past, and ejected him. Defendant has not come; it had been ordered to distrain him; distrained (12d); mainperned by ‘John Doo and Richard Roo’; to be distrained to be here on the morrow of All Souls [3 November 1558]

Thomas Baylye and Margaret his wife (by Richard Perwyche). 24 May 4 & 5 Philip & Mary , with swords, sticks &c. they entered the manor of Maydeforde which Leticia Newsam widow has demised to the said Thomas Truste 1 October 4 & 5 Philip & Mary for 21 years, and ejected him: £80 damages. Jury for octaves of Candlemas [9 February 1559]. On which day the sheriff did not send the writ; sicut prius, jury for quindene of Easter [9 April 1559]
