Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire

14 January 1832: Valuable and useful farming stock, implements, grass keeping and hay, under an assignment, to be sold by auction by Mr Wilkinson. On Wednesday 25 January 1832, on the premises in Sulby Lordship, now in the occupation of Mr T. Biggs, Husband’s Bosworth, in the county of Leicester: The following very valuable stock, &c.; consisting of seven cows, in calf; 13 store beast, four yearlings, five calves, 81 ewes, 48 lambhogs, four draught horses, two hackney ditto, one foal, three narrow-wheel wagons, two carts, ploughs, harrows, field roll, two sets of thiller’s tackle, four sets of gearing, plough chains, drag rakes, forks, barn tackle in general. The company is requested to meet the auctioneer by 10 o’clock at the field barn adjoining the road leading from Welford to Sibbertoft, at which time the sale will commence with the sheep-stock, which are in a very clean and healthy state. – The whole of the above stock merits public attention. Also about 100 acres of grass keeping and hay, till 6 April 1832, in such lots as may be agreed on at the time and place of sale.
