April 1925: Heaton Mersey School: Many of our scholars are still on the sick list. Master Leslie Gould of the 7th Class Males, had a severe accident on Saturday, March 14, and is at present domiciled in the Stockport Infirmary through being knocked down by a North-Western ‘bus. We are pleased to report that although his injuries are very serious, he is at present showing a splendid improvement.
