January 1936: Football: Widley House: ‘The House has been unfortunate in losing Dorey and Jacobs for most of the term, but a “dark-horse” has come to light in Blackmore (C.S. VI) who is likely to put in some useful work for us in goal; L. C. White (IV C) too, is playing for the House for the first time and is doing well. The first-year contains the usual number of enthusiasts with a bigger proportion than usual of former Elementary School players – Eames, Fletcher, Doyle, Conway, Jefferson, O’Neill.’

12 June 1951: C. M. Dorey, soprano, The Alexandra Choir
