28 October 1738: Enoch Burgis [signs] churchwarden and one of the overseers of the poor of the township of Nether Alderley in the county of Chester and John Shrigley (signs: Joh: Shrigley) the other overseer of the poor of Nether Alderley certify that John Wyche and Sarah his Wife and Mary their Daughter to be Inhabitants legally settled in our said Township of Nether Alderley. Witnesses: John Mottram [signs], Joseph Henshall [signs]: Peter Davenport [signs] and J Cholmondeley [signs] justices of the peace for county Chester certify that Joseph Hanshall the witness has testified before them to the execution of the certificate.
